Yeah I’m all for Windows 7 I have beta on my laptop and have it dual booted on my main desktop as well. Yeah anyone that has over 3 gigs of RAM should have a 64 Bit OS. So one can fully utilize all the memory. I have Win 7 64 bit beta on the Quad Core, 4 Gig Mem. Desktop I built. Works great. But I only have 32 bit XP Home on earlier OS Boot. I didn’t have 64 bit XP laying around =\

Lenovo isn’t bad, They’ve usually been the business class computer. Only thing I don’t like about new laptops and PC’s is all the unnecessary junk they put on them. Great about the free upgrade to Windows 7. The way it’s looking now Vista users will have to pay a small fee to upgrade. XP Home/Pro users might have to clean install Win7 OS, no upgrade option. Full version will be salty on price.

@matthew ~ I’m not a hater but don’t much care for the MAC. Stevie likes to be entirely too proprietary for my tastes. I actually considered getting a 17″ Macbook and then just running windows on it.

Isn’t getting a new electronic toy fun? I know when my iMac arrived I couldn’t set it up fast enough! Too bad my iBook totally crashed and I couldn’t transfer any of my old files.

I know of a fellow blogger whose Dell “brick” has died. Send me an email and I’ll give you the details. I know she would love to find a replacement at a decent price.
