However, there are times though when I feel my Mom's spirit around the house, standing around with that disapproving frown on her face and a cigarette with that 3 inch ash hanging off the end of the butt. Still, several of my friends who are natives of the Piney Woods have had experiences and are convinced some very ancient energy inhabits the Thicket. I know the "feeling" they are referring to.
