Arrgggh! It’s been a busy week. It’s my Friday night and I’m catching up on the tivo shows.
Has anyone else been watching the release of the new Doctor Who series on scifi? It’s starting off pretty good. I wasn’t to keen on the first episode but the rest have been excellent. I’ve been having scifi withdrawals w/my regular shows being in the off season right now. It might just work out. hehehe.
Heck I wish I had time to watch TV. I have some regulars I’ve been missing. But in another two weeks I have 4 weeks to catch up, thank goodness.
Ah! You’re talking about Sci-Fi Friday… It drives me nuts when they all end up at the same time, now the waiting begins for the next season. I loved the ending of Galactica – I think it fit the show’s direction and style perfectly. I’ll have to check out Doctor Who now. Thanks for the tip.
i also thought the first episode was weak, but now i am loving it.
I’ve got the first 3 episodes Tivo’d but I haven’t gotten a chance to watch them yet. I still haven’t quite recovered from the Battlestar Galactica season finale yet!
I want my Sci-Fi fridays! Although I have not checked out “Dr. Who” yet I really want to see it. I keep forgetting to add it to my DVR list.
Although I have to admit that I am filling the void of Sci-Fi fridays with a little show called “High School Musical.” It’s like CRACK. I can’t stop watching it on my DVR! LOL
I have been a Who fan since high school (yes, I was the geek who was picked last for sport teams in gym–what gave it away?). Give it time to grow on you if you’ve never watched it before. And wait until the Daleks make an entrance. If anything, they might be nastier than Cylons.
Ooh, and then there’s Captain Jack, who becomes the Doctor’s sidekick later in the season. He’s aptly named. I’ll say no more than that.
We’ve been watching and like it. I do miss Battlestar though. The DVD set better show up soon!
