nice pic but the contrast is too low. btw.. do you EVER take a bad pic, Moby?
It’s a little more sterile and industrial than what I picture you with (if that makes any sense). But then again I have no color sense at all. π
It’s a great picture of you, but too much empty space on the left and right. You need go-go boys or something.
Looks awesome..i agree about the empty space on ur pic. But it’s a good pic damnit. I think u’ve got something that can evolve into something bigger…

i LOVE it! I am a huge fan of grey! BTW I ran into the BLONDE version of Moby on one of my flights yesterday – the dark version is much hotter!
Oh there is one after thought that I just had – being the anal retentive guy I am – I would change the font in the “drop down menus” to be the same font as the rest of the site, verdana instead of arial…..
Nice banner, great pic, but I agree a little dark. The text is bigger, which is good cause my old eyes…
I kinda like elements of the new look. I just finished out my personal logo for my resumes and stuff – went with WARM GRAYS plus a a spot of color. Just about any color works with it. Balance of the title caption or banner with a spot of blue, red…it will keep it contemporary but not to over the top.
So how did Brett manage to move to the top of your A list. You just inflated his ego ten fold. How’s LT handling that?

I like the look Moby – but I have to agree with the others that it seems a bit dark in the header. That is a great pic of you and should be highlighted. π
I like, I tend to agree on the darkness issue…unless you are going for the darker side of Moby effect…heeheehee
Regarding the new header: Dark, foreboding and mysterious. Just like Moby.

Nice color and contrast, but it looks like “Lawrence of Arabia”- letterboxed edition.
Kinda like projecting a Academy standard anamorphic 35mm frame with a 70mm CinemaScope or TODD-AO lens. …I’m just sayin’
I kind of like the new look. But then my blog is mostly gray and blue, too. So, I guess I’m partial.
Regarding the positioning on the list, LT is handling it just find. No matter where he is in a pile, he’s still the top. π
Color-wise I think it better now; it really warms up the page, and removes that feeling of “oh, I just stepped into an empty steel factory”. Surprising how just a spash of color changes the feel of the page and pops out a bit.
Stunning! Can’t stop staring at it. Plus you look huge- in a good way ;o) From a design perspective, would incorporate the title and subtitle into the picture area and have it as the masthead. Must stop… looking at picture now…
