Blabber Mouth

Ok, so many things to go on and on about today. You might wanna grab a sandwich this is gonna be a long entry.

The Flight Attendant:
First things first, the flight attendant called me this morning. Talk about put a smile on my face. hehehe I’m not really sure where this is headed. I’ve already mentioned, I’d be up for dating him. I guess I’d forgotten he was already dating someone1 however, from the conversation today, I’m wondering if now maybe something better is on the horizon. (meaning me, of course.) He has been very honest up front about that. I admire him for it too. That said, they haven’t reached a point of being exclusive yet so I don’t feel the least bit guilty. So without spilling all his beans, he seems willing to explore meeting again and maybe seeing what develops. Is that ambiguous enough for ya? lol Ok, I know that is a bit of a tease however, I don’t want to over think it and make it more than it is. If something develops, I find myself very keen on the idea. If not, the memories were hot! And boy were they. Ok, I’m dangling again, sorry. Moving on…

Visiting Tuscon:
With the extra cash coming in from all the fraking overtime I had to work this past week, I decided to make an impromptu trip to Tuscon next month. I’ve been bugging people to come up and see me for so long I figured it was time to return the favor. Not one but two of my blog buddies, Homer and Urswine Addiction, live there and what better way to spend an extended weekend.2 I didn’t realize how well they knew each other and was a tad worried at first. Both have offered a place for me to crash on many occasion, so who to choose? Being completely selfish, I picked Urswine simply because they have AC. (Don’t hate me Homie. *g*) While I might have grown up in the South, I’ve gotten very used to the cool nights here in SF. If I had to sleep in the heat, I think I’d promptly shrivel up and die! I was a tad worried about slighted feelings but after a quick call to Homer, turns out they are good friends, drama averted. I’m totally excited now. I’ve never actually been to Tuscon so it promises to be a fun trip. I would say think “Bears Gone Wild” but I still haven’t quite reconciled myself into that category. I’m just me. Pig is more like it.

Gym Boo-Boo:
Far be it from me to cast stones however, there was some drama at the gym yesterday. This young thin waifish looking fembot of a queen came in working out in a hilarious outfit. And for the Castro Gold’s, that is saying something. I know I shouldn’t laugh but bless his heart. I’m not sure exactly what the intention was but it didn’t go over well. He was dressed in a powder blue mid-rift t-shirt3 with a sort of white and print hoodie over it. Not the end of the world right? Except he had on this overly large pair of trendy undies that looked 1) ridiculous and 2) exactly like he was wearing underwear. I try to be overly forgiving of people’s fashion choices but to see it was to laugh.4 It was apparent from his prancing/preening this was exactly the sort of reaction he was hoping for. Management, on the other hand, wasn’t so amused. They pulled him aside and politely explained his gym attire was not appropriate. Rather than just concede and move on, oh no, missy threw a tantrum, canceled her membership and promptly pranced right out of the gym. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no saint when it comes to gym shenanigans (color you surprised right?) and I thought it was pretty damn funny. However, to be so openly brazen in front of the staff and management is begging for drama. He should have checked with an old horndog like me beforehand. I could have given him plenty of tips for being a hussy AND remaining under the radar. Speaking of the gym, I have another post coming later. hehehe

Random: (Somebody shut this fag up already)
Today is such a lazy day. Nothing exciting. I’m currently polishing off the remains a nice plate of sushi. I’m faced w/the very difficult decision of getting my hooves polished or going to see the new Harry Potter flick. I think I’ll do both. I should be doing laundry but we all know how that story goes. I also totally forgot sexy Adam is back in town for work. Besides doing a work out together on Saturday, we are supposed to hang out tonight. He just called to let me know he made it into SF. I’m gonna tag along with his fervent following later on. However, I absolutely refuse to set foot in Sadlands (aka Badlands bar) My patience does have its limits and that place is it. However, I think we’ll crack that nut another day when I’m desperate for a topic.

Random II:
I’m not sure what is up w/my sleep patterns but I’ve been waking up really early the last few days. Well, early for me. My little brother called me bright and early this morning (9:00am) and I was already awake. Still in bed mind you but awake. Apparently, the money I sent him yesterday hadn’t arrived yet and he was getting ansy. He was more worried the money would get lost than anything else. I spent 20 minutes figuring out the glitch. I’m feeling for him right now. He hurt his shoulder and has been off work for almost a month. Thru some confusion his SDI payments got delayed and he is out of money. He is so proud so I know he was bordering on desperate to ask me for cash. Anyway, snafu averted and he go the money. In his downtime, he has become completely addicted to playing Gears of War. I bought him and my newphew an Xbox 360 for Christmas. I guess the tech/geek gene runs in the family.

Ok, I’m done now. I’m all talked out. If you read all of this you are a glutton for punishment and I love you. hehehe

1 Ok, maybe I intentionally forgot. I got needs to damn it!
2 Actually, I have a 3rd non-blogging friend there but he is out of town that weekend. Rat bastard!
3 Forgetting for a moment that is so 80’s.
4 Lord, forgive me, I promise to go down and work with the Pygmies in New Guinea

  5. So many of you bloggers travel quite frequently. Thats why I like reading blogs I suppose. You’ll like Tucson. I was just there. Stayed at Hilton on Broadway. Close to relatives. 105 degrees. But dry heat as my aunt said. Whatever. So is opening an oven door. At any rate, help Homer choose new frames and go to Tombstone.

  6. Never turn your back on a flight attendant…..speaking from personal experience.
Happy travels to the Tucson Bear Convention! Make sure that Homer cooks for you!
