We Interrupt This Blogcast…
Before I get sucked into yet another unnecessary and pointless bitch fight, [1]If you don’t know, don’t ask. Ugh! let me intervene on my own behalf.
Here at the Moby Files, we (as in I) take your comments/feedback very seriously. However, please take a brief moment to edu-macate yourself on a few simple rules.
We thank you for your continued patronage and do have a good day!

Status Quo
After my last rant, someone asked how things w/TFA and I were since I referenced some playtime. Because of our schedules and an illness in his family, I won’t see him again till January. Yes, it bothers me but it is what it is. We also both work jobs where we work holidays. Translation? We are both busy this time of year. The upside, he is moving back to domestic flights in January which will give him a lot more flexibility to pull trips to SF. I will admit my feelings for him as altered my playtime somewhat. Having very connected sex w/someone vs just having sex is different obviously. I tend to have less of the latter in expectation of the first. However, there are times when the mood strikes and simply will not be denied. And having a strong libido it is a given. OY!
As to the implication behind the question, no we are not monogamous. I’ve never been big on that anyway. Considering we live in different cities and only see each other about once a month right now, not really fair to impose such a restriction even if we were. Yes, he knows. I’m about honesty and communication vs enforcing blind rules of obedience. Besides, jealousy is so not my color!
Joygasm!
Remember the new CBR from Honda I talked about getting? The place where I got my last bike just got one in blue! Looks like I might be trading up soon. Oooh, wouldn’t that be nice?!
Hoof Job
Fat Heifer
I’ve been lazy the last couple of weeks. Ok, that is half true. I’ve had a busy work schedule and lazy on my weekends. I haven’t been to the gym in almost 2 weeks either. I feel like a fat heifer. I’ve probably put on about 6 lbs. Ugh! I think I feel the need to purge. j/k. This morning I woke up with a small sore throat. I ended up calling off work today. No gym yet again it seems.
I finally beat Timeshift on the Xbox so the absent-minded look in my eyes from too much gaming has begun to fade. It was a decent game. Nowhere near as compelling as Gears of War. The time-shifting ability isn’t that new either. Prince of Persia has a similar feature. Still it was a nice twist on an otherwise mediocre FPS [1]first person shooter for you n00bs game.
I felt guilt for having a booty call yesterday. I hope I didn’t give him a cold. lol He took it like a pro and wore me out. I did manage to get out and pick up a few more Christmas cards. I’m almost done shopping for cards and will starting mailing them out next week. [2]I spend more money on cards than presents I think. I like buying christmas cards.
The roomie got back last night. The apt. has felt empty the last two weeks without him. You know how it is when you get accustomed to having someone around.
I also had dinner w/roblog last night. It was good to see the big man-brute in the flesh again. I felt so bad though. His tendons are still giving him grief. We yacked and caught up on the random goings-on in our lives over burgers and fries. Always good to see him.
I’m feeling quite chatty-kathy today so expect several more blog posts before the day is over.
Still Here
Yes, I’m still alive. It has been a busy ass week for me at work. Lots of Union drama. [1]well that and I’ve got two new games on the xbox I had to sit it on a Skelly hearing yesterday for an employee. The department tried to throw the book at her for a very minor infraction. Said employee decided to hire an attorney so I acted more as an observer. [2]We both can’t represent her, there has to be a lead
Anyway, it was a very empowering experience. One, because the attorney didn’t come up with anything I hadn’t already covered. That made me feel competent in my abilities. I admit it gave me pride knowing I had covered all the bases. Two, seeing the attorney bring the force of her experience to bear on the situation was exciting. While she didn’t come up with anything new, she did deliver it with the force of someone who knows their shit and knows they are going to win. I like confidence and she had it.
In the end, management agreed to reduce the requested punishment to just a written admonishment, which is what it should have been in the first place. I was glad it worked out so well even if it did cost the employee $1500 bucks.
Speaking of, our chapter elections are coming up this month. I do not plan on re-running as an Officer. Someone else’s turn. I’ll still be an acting Steward though. This will give me more time to focus on employee complaints vs being up management’s grill on a daily basis. hehehe.
Christmas Smichmas
Like a dolt, I’ve managed to misplace my mailing list for last years Christmas cards. I think it got lost in the dead hard drive I wiped at the beginning of the year.
Anyhow, if you’d like an Christmas card from me this year send me your info again [1]Even if you got one from me in the past Click the little globe icon (lower left column) of the ole blog and email me your mailing address. If we already chatted on twitter about this year, I still have your info.
I’m such a ‘tard I know but you gotta love me right?
