Fat Heifer

I’ve been lazy the last couple of weeks. Ok, that is half true. I’ve had a busy work schedule and lazy on my weekends. I haven’t been to the gym in almost 2 weeks either. I feel like a fat heifer. I’ve probably put on about 6 lbs. Ugh! I think I feel the need to purge. j/k. This morning I woke up with a small sore throat. I ended up calling off work today. No gym yet again it seems.

I finally beat Timeshift on the Xbox so the absent-minded look in my eyes from too much gaming has begun to fade. It was a decent game. Nowhere near as compelling as Gears of War. The time-shifting ability isn’t that new either. Prince of Persia has a similar feature. Still it was a nice twist on an otherwise mediocre FPS [1]first person shooter for you n00bs game.

I felt guilt for having a booty call yesterday. I hope I didn’t give him a cold. lol He took it like a pro and wore me out. I did manage to get out and pick up a few more Christmas cards. I’m almost done shopping for cards and will starting mailing them out next week. [2]I spend more money on cards than presents I think. I like buying christmas cards.

The roomie got back last night. The apt. has felt empty the last two weeks without him. You know how it is when you get accustomed to having someone around.

I also had dinner w/roblog last night. It was good to see the big man-brute in the flesh again. I felt so bad though. His tendons are still giving him grief. We yacked and caught up on the random goings-on in our lives over burgers and fries. Always good to see him.

I’m feeling quite chatty-kathy today so expect several more blog posts before the day is over.

Boredom

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been extremely busy doing absolutely nothing. lol

I’d planned a bunch of stuff to do with TFA but since he had to go home early that is all moot. I’m more than a little disappointed but not the least bit angry. If it had been me, I’d have gone home too. Thankfully, his place didn’t get caught up in the fires.

Of course, my vacation has drastically changed now. I was thinking of going to Ft Lauderdale but the flights were hella expensive for last minute so I’m just hanging at home. The time off is enjoyable enough. I’m thinking of going for a long ride up the coast today. It has been very warm this week and would be awful to waste potentially the last warm days of the season.

I also got word today a buddy is having a little bit of domestic troubles. I’m sad for him. He is a good man. He is someone I’m honored to call a friend so I hope it all works out. He deserves to be happy. I’ll keep my fingers (and toes) crossed it does.

Anyway, I’m off to the gym to work my ‘muskles’. Later

Blogger Collision

I got to meet Mike from One 3y3 Open this weekend. He is a very nice and charming man. He was a little tipsy and acting all embarrassed. I couldn’t have cared less. We had some good conversation and laughed a lot. We bar hopped all over the castro before landing at 440 Castro. [1]aka Daddies He really liked that one.

I had a very nice time hanging out w/him and chatting about everything under the sun. I was immediately struck by his very soft lips. He really needs to post more pics of himself on the blog. [2]You listening? LOL He is here for work and being the opposite of my schedule I may not get to hang out w/him. However, even a brief meeting is better than none at all. I can add one more blogger to my list of “met in person”. Now if I could just get Large Tony on an airplane…

Shout & Scream

First things first, a big shout out to Adam. Today is his birfday. He hasn’t been feeling so hot so be sure to hop over and wish him a good one!

In less exciting news, I got the “ring of death’ on my xbox 360 console last night. I was just sitting down to play the full version of Bioshock when the box suddenly shut down. On reboot, I got the fated death rings. I hate to but Microsoft gets props for having my info correct and on file. After a quick run down of this and that they had my repair order placed. Of course, it was just too be good to be true, the system was “updating” so I had to wait an hour and call back to finalize the order. Almost Microsoft, almost. lol

Ok, I finally got around to editing the pics from the trip. Yours truly remembered to take his camera however, like a ditzy queer I forgot to charge the damn battery. I was lucky enough to snag some pics from the group.

homer was so kind and made almost everything from scratch. He really is quite the cook. Not only did he whip up a very tasty Pineapple upside-down cake, he also made some tasty homemade pizzas. YUM!

The next day I hung out w/Frank/John. They were such good hosts and indulged my every whim. We did lunch at one of their favorite Mexican hang-outs. I got a call from work and they got to see my bitch side.

I had a great time. homer, Frank, John and the entire cast of friends made me laugh and feel very welcome. I was very happy to finally see the famous homer Pad. I met the ninja kitties and the welfare pup. She was so old but so sweet.

Frank/John were so nice to put up with me. I had a great time hanging out with both of them. Rumor has it they are coming back up for Folsom.

Tucson is a blast. Frank/John are the host’s w/the most. They also indulged me a nap after my limited sleep yesterday.

Tucson – Here I Come

Today is my Friday. I’m off at 10pm tonight and then off to Tucson to see some blog buddies early tomorrow morning. Apparently, a shindig is planned. Knowing homer, there will be more menz there than I can shake a stick at. heehee I even did some laundry so I could be presentable! That has to mean something!

I’m taking the laptop and the phone so will do my very best to take plenty of pics. You know homer isn’t camera shy so between the two of us, I’m sure we’ll digitize the whole weekend. Actually, now that I think of it, the new tivo bag will make a great travel bag for my short trip!1 My one misgiving is the sun/heat. I hope they have some sunblock because I’m still pale as a ghost. lol

To all the private inquiries, no homer is not mad at me. I guess over the recent fall out some felt he would be angry w/me.2 Kind of silly if you think about it. Anyone who would un-friend me over a difference of opinion really isn’t a friend at all. I wasn’t worried but lordy lordy, you gurls sure are nosy.3 And, I didn’t agree or disagree, I just didn’t really care for how it was handled. I make no apologies for that. homer and I have been friends online and offline for several years now. That will continue.

Lunch w/Mr. Tivo was great. Besides the free stuff, he was very fun to hang out with. We laughed a lot. I introduced him to my favorite sushi roll and he loved it. As any two gay men in SF, we talked about tech, scifi, sex, men, and gadgets. Duh! As I said below, I think I made a new friend and I’m sure we’ll hang out again soon.

As a bit of a teaser, I may have some good news to report soon. Still to early to tell but I’ll let you know as soon as I can. It promises to be a bit of a scandal as well.

Table For Two

I am meeting a guy from bear411 over lunch tomorrow. Not a date because it really isn’t sexual but we seem to chat a lot about geek stuff. I’m looking forward to it. I’m always happy to expand my circle of friends and he strikes me as a genuine fella.

He also works for Tivo and promised to bring me tchotchkes! Hell! I’d put out for that. heeehee. One can never have too much Tivo gear! Seriously though, we’ve been chatting off/on for months and decided to say hello in person. Working an odd schedule, it is hard to have a social life but I’m trying.

Of course, we are having sushi, my favorite food. Turns out he is a big fan and has never been to my favorite place in the ghaytto. I have to admit, it is nice to meet someone w/o the expectation of sex in the way. Well, I say that now but you know what a hoochie I am…
